What should I do in case of irregular bleeding?

  • The use of mifepristone changes the lining of the uterus. The expectation is that the bleeding will decrease or even stop. However, we don't yet know exactly how often this happens and how often intermittent or other bleeding occurs. That's why we also ask about this in the daily questionnaire.
  • Bleeding may also be different (thicker, darker) due to the changes in the uterine lining. This is not abnormal and is not a cause for concern.
