Not able to come to a check-up or running out of mifepristone

The check-ups at 3, 6 and 12 months are mandatory.

Of course, it is possible to move the appointment to a later time in the event of illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
That is why a few extra mifepristone tablets are given, sufficient for an appointment 1-2 weeks later.

In special circumstances, the appointment can be made up to 1 week earlier, in which case the check will take place after 12, 25 and 51 weeks instead of 13, 26 and 52 weeks.

Before you start the research, consider whether you will be in the Netherlands after 3, 6 and 12 months. If not, discuss starting the study at another time.
